Designed and led user research campaign for company’s video doorbell product.

• Conducted contextual usability testing of home installation process, resulting in streamlined experience, improved product manual, and reduced user installation pain points.

• Implemented a within-app digital diary study to understand usage scenarios, user behaviors, and identify pain points in user experience with the app and product prototypes. Research resulted in actionable insights for future design iterations of doorbell products.

Designed and proofread pre-K through 6th grade books in the 2,500 volume Fountas & Pinnell Classroom Literacy System. Responsible for visual design of book layouts, quality assurance, and editorial accuracy of text to meet educational needs of young readers.

OFFICE DEPOT | Environmental Strategy Intern

Developed strategies to better communicate corporate environmental leadership, drive green sales, and build customer loyalty.

• Identified opportunities for UX improvements in website content, design, and navigation on green and retail Office Depot websites. Worked with IT team to enable implementation.

• Responsible for collecting all data for Dow Jones Sustainability Index assessment, resulting in #9 rank in North America.
